For insurance reasons 'drop in's are not permitted. 


CrossFit is a strength and Conditioning programme that can be done by anyone regardless of age and current fitness level. At its core is the principal that every work out can be scaled to suit the athlete. The movements are functional, varied and performed at a high intensity.

At CrossFit Mallow you will work the 10 general physical skills needed to become fit: You are as fit as you are competent in each of these;

What a typical day at CrossFit Mallow is like:

Imagine stepping through the door of a gym and walking in into a welcoming, friendly, encouraging atmosphere where everyone is on first name terms.

Written up on the whiteboard is the workout of the day(WOD). You and everyone else participating will be doing some form of this workout, scaled to each individual’s ability and fitness level.  The Coach takes you through a warm up and teaches correct technique on the movements in the workout. After a few minutes of stretching and mobility work it’s time for the workout to begin.

The first part of the workout is aimed at improving the Athletes strength, the second part is for improving metabolic conditioning (cardio).
The Coach shouts 3…2...1… Go! and everyone gets moving. The Coach offers encouragement and technique cues to the athletes. The workouts usually lasts 60 mins.

Everyone that trains at CrossFit Mallow is referred to as an Athlete regardless of current ability. Athletes encourage and support each other and every little success is applauded and cheered from the rooftops. The aim is not to be the best, but to improve and move forward every time you train. You will learn new skills and do things that once seemed impossible to you. You will look forward with trepidation and excitement at seeing the next day’s WOD(Workout of the day).
